It’s strange how we feel the need to justify our emotions groping through the thesaurus looking for words that just match
how we feel.
As if attempting to clarify will ever satisfy
one lacking in understanding —
give up trying.
Just go on living. Reaching for and embracing
a new life rising
from the ashes of yesterdays where we
stayed trying to explain.
