Watching the setting sun kissing the far horizon has always been my favourite time of day. It emotes a feeling of “job well done”, so time for a rest. Whether my day was brimming with successes or swamped with failures, it’s always a job well done — successes were celebrated or lessons were learned.

So as you sit on your porch or on a rock by the bay watching the sunset, join me in a cup of tea I dub ‘Easy Evening’

Ingredients:

1 large leaf of soursop

1 sprig of lemon balm

1.5 cups of water

Directions:

Add the water to a small pan, cover, and bring to a full boil. Turn off the heat, remove the lid and add the soursop and lemon balm leaves. Recover tightly and allow the leaves to steep in the boiled water.

After 5 minutes, strain into a container that can hold the entire brew. Measure out one cup, add it to your favourite mug and enjoy with your sunset.

Notes:

Your warm mug of tea,

Lingering thoughts of a day well spent,

Beautiful rays of a setting sun,

Are all the ingredients for an Easy Evening

Enjoy.
